12 weeks!

12 weeks pregnant!!

 How far along: 12 weeks

Baby Growth: "Clover" is about 2 inches long and weighs about half an ounce! Reflexes are starting to happen and if I were to mess my belly where baby is he or she would probably squirm in response. He or she can open and close fingers and hands! "Clover" even looks like a tiny human now!!! woohoo!

My Symptoms: I've  still been feeling relatively good lately! Just have to eat a million times a day!

I'm starting to get more energy, but still get tired easily.

I really thought and hoped I would be having cravings by now! Totally not! What is wrong with me? I completely still NEVER want anything. I mean I'm normally starving all the time and need to find food like now and its so difficult because everything sounds gross still. Normally the only thing that sounds good is like fast food and even then not all of it sounds good. So its still a struggle in the food department!

Gender:  I so think its a girl now.

Weight gain:  NONE!

Maternity clothes: Here and there still. I mean my belly definitely sticks way out by the end of the day so its more comfortable to wear maternity pants or shorts instead of regular ones. If I could I would wear leggings or pajamas all the time! I can't wait for the weather to get cooler to have a reason to wear leggings and boots everyday :) We had some cooler weather this week which was such a teaser, but who cares I still pulled out my boots for a day :)

Stretch marks: No

Belly button in or out: In

Sleep: Still sleeping great! Most nights anyway

Best moment this week: Had a doctors appointment Thursday where I thought I would be having my NT ultrasound along with talking to the ob coordinator person to review history and whatnot. Also knew I would be having some blood work done. However, since I have had an early ultrasound and it measured 3 days behind what my period says we cancelled the ultrasound for Thursday and have one scheduled for this coming Friday the 5th! Anyway the good part of this was we did listen to the heartbeat on the Doppler. Found it very quickly and my Dr. said it was between 160-170 which is why I'm thinking girl :)

Worst moment this week: Find out I was not having an ultrasound, but it was being replaced with a pap smear? ughh so not cool! Not to mention it started getting warm again outside. BRING BACK COOLER WEATHER! WERE I'M READY FOR FALL!

Miss anything:  Having food I'm excited to eat!
Movement: nope, but really wish it would come soon!

Cravings: Nope :(

Queasy or sick: queasy if I don't eat still!

Questions/Concerns: none at the moment

Looking forward to:  Our ultrasound on Friday! Hoping they will let us sneak a peek between the legs! I know it would still be very early, but a good bit of my friends were told with a certain percentage of what the gender was at this appointment and had it confirmed a few weeks later! We also have our gender scan on the 19th and our reveal party that night! So can't wait to find out and start the nursery!

9 & 10 weeks!

I did not do a 9 week post. I just forgot and by the time I thought about it I was already 10 weeks. I did get a picture though!

Now I am 10 weeks!

How far along: 8 weeks

Baby Growth: "Clover" is a little over an inch or so long and weighs less than a quarter of an ounce. Baby has now completed the most critical portion of his or her development. He or she is swallowing fluid and kicking up a storm.  Tiny nails are forming on fingers and toes and peach-fuzz hair is beginning to grow on his or her tender skin.

My Symptoms: I've been feeling pretty good recently. THANK the LORD! I only get nauseous if I don't eat for too long.

I have still been really tired, but I'm not sure that will ever go away :)

Gender:  Ugh.. I wish I knew! I think I'm really wanting a boy now and I know how much Tyler wants a boy so I want to say boy, but I just feel like since that is what we want that it will be a girl? It is so stressful. I'm so glad I don't have to wait too much longer to find out!

Weight gain:  Still Haven't weighed myself.

Maternity clothes: Some here and there. They are just more comfortable and I don't have to have my pants shoving into my stomach.

Stretch marks: No

Belly button in or out: In

Sleep: Still sleeping great!

Best moment this week: This didn't happen this week or maybe it did? I can't remember, but we got to hear the baby's heartbeat very well. You can listen here. It is super easy to find now!

Worst moment this week: Feeling tired 24/7

Miss anything:  Not really..
Movement: nope

Cravings: Not sure. I mean there have been a few times where I wanted something and ate it, but it wasn't like that OMG I have to have this.

Queasy or sick: queasy if I don't eat!

Questions/Concerns: none at the moment

Looking forward to:  Our next ultrasound on August 28th! Also ready for some cooler fall weather and some college football! I'm so over the heat!

Nursery Ideas

I have had a crib since I was about 5 weeks that my mom bought for me. I knew I wanted a white crib because I had a white dresser already and I think that white can go for either boy or girl! I have had some ideas for how I wanted to do the nursery for a girl for a while now. I just decided with the help of Tyler on how to do the nursery if its a boy!

For a girl I did not want any kind of "theme". I did not want to do pink although the room that will be the nursery is a hideous bright pink color. When we bought this house that was the computer room and I wanted it to be a fun color. Well the color that we picked out to paint it turned out to be a lot brighter and pinker than I thought it would be. So needless to say, we have some painting to do.

I saw a picture on pinterest that I fell in love with. When I saw it I knew immediately that is how I wanted to do the nursery for my baby girl!

I also have some other ideas I would like to incorporate with this picture for the nursery

I absolutely love the idea of a chandelier in the nursery!

If we have a boy, obviously Tyler wanted camouflage! I was ok with SOME camouflage, but I didn't want everything camo. So we compromised with a duck hunting theme. That way he could get some hunting and camouflage and I could incorporate some ducks unlimited pictures and such. My total idea of the nursery is still a work in progress but here is what I'm thinking so far..

It would be awesome if I could find a light or fan like this!

This is the bedding that we will get

This is the sign that I saw that inspired this room!

I am thinking a darker green like a hunter green color for the walls. I think it would look great with white furniture!

This is the crib that I have along with the ugly pink color that is on the walls!

and a blurry picture of the dresser!
