15 weeks

How far along: 15 weeks, 6 days
Baby Growth: Lakelyn is about 4 inches long and 2 1/2 ounces!
My Symptoms: Nothing really major going on. I get out of breath pretty easily and I still want a nap like every day, but that is about it!
Gender:  GIRL!
Weight gain:  None just yet! I'm sure it'll start very, very soon.
Maternity clothes: Nope, but I definitely need some maternity shirts bad! I don't have much that fits me. Its finally been cooler here so leggings, sweats, and long sleeves have been life savers!
Stretch marks: No
Belly button in or out: In
Sleep: It was amazing last night! I don't know if it was because it was pretty chilly out and the windows were open and I was all cuddled up, but last nights sleep was the best!
Best moment this week: Obviously finding out we're having a BABY GIRL!
Worst moment this week: These days its just waking up in the mornings!
Miss anything:  Can't say that I do.
Movement: Nothing! however the ultrasound tech did confirm my placenta was towards my belly like in front of baby girl and that she has heard a lot of women say that is a reason they don't feel movements until later! So.. lets hope that placenta moves on over so I can start feeling baby girl!
Cravings: Still none, but hoping they will start here soon. I've been doing great as far as eating goes lately.
Queasy or sick: Been feeling pretty good!
Wedding rings on or off: On
Looking forward to:  Finishing up painting the nursery so I can share some pictures with you! Also looking forward to more cooler weather, fires, sweats, Halloween, probably the Halloween candy, Thanksgiving, Black Friday shopping and most of all Christmas <3 ahh its so close I can smell it!
Belly Pictures:  No chalkboard this week.. I'm a little slack, but it is what it is!

15 weeks gender reveal

We didn't get many pictures from the party and I'm still working on getting the video to download, but I wanted to share that we are having a baby...

GIRL!!!
I had a feeling for awhile that we would be having a girl, but I'm still kind of in shock that I'm not having a little boy first! We are very excited to meet this little girl!

Lakelyn Beth we cannot wait to meet you!

14 weeks!

How far along: 14 weeks, 5 days
Baby Growth: "Clover" is about 3 and 1/2 inches long and weighs about 1 and 1/2 ounces! He or she  can now squint, frown, grimace, pee, and possibly suck his or her thumb!
My Symptoms: Still getting headaches! Still get hungry a lot! Still don't care for food too much! I thought this second trimester was supposed to be "amazing" <-- where is my amazing feeling at?
Gender:  Still thinking girl.
Weight gain:  None that I know of. I'll find out Friday!
Maternity clothes: Not lately. Again mostly still in regular jeans or yoga pants. Ready for the cool weather so I have a reason to wear leggings everyday!
Stretch marks: No
Belly button in or out: In
Sleep: I toss and turn a lot these past few nights. I think its because I get headaches at night! Not sure how to fix this? Any thoughts?
Best moment this week: Knowing we're getting an ultrasound Friday!!
Worst moment this week: The fact that I had a voicemail that was saying I had to reschedule my appointment for Friday that has been on the books for over 6 weeks. What?! Good thing that was a mistake!
Miss anything:  Not having headahces
Movement: maybe a kick or punch here and there, but still unsure!
Cravings: You tell me where they are? I have no clue!
Queasy or sick: Been feeling pretty good!
Wedding rings on or off: On
Looking forward to:  Our gender ultrasound Friday! Being able to call baby by name and SHOPPING!
Belly Pictures:  I really should dress or look halfway decent and get Tyler to actually take these pictures.

13 weeks

13 weeks!

How far along: 13 weeks, 3 days

Baby Growth: "Clover" is about 3 inches long and weighs about an ounce! He or she now has fingerprints!

My Symptoms: Still feeling pretty good!
Had a few headaches for about a week straight when I woke up, but usually after drinking some caffeine the headache will go away.

I'm still tired a lot! I have more energy than I did a few weeks ago, but I could still sleep all day!

My boobs are getting HUGE! I mean I wore a regular V-neck shirt today with a tank top and seriously they kept falling out of my shirt! I couldn't keep the shirt above them!

Gender:  Still thinking girl.

Weight gain:  NONE!

Maternity clothes: Here and there. I've been wearing mostly regular jeans lately. If I feel like they get too tight i'll unbutton them or use the hair tie trick, but I guess since my belly is starting to move up some wearing my jeans doesn't irritate me much anymore. Although I need to get some maternity shirts I think because my shirts are getting too short or too tight. I end up living in tshirts which just makes me look fat! I can't wait for winter so I can wear sweatshirts everyday!

Stretch marks: No

Belly button in or out: In

Sleep: Still sleeping great! Most nights.

Best moment this week: Having our 13 week NT ultrasound and getting to see baby!

Worst moment this week: The weather has been humid and hot :( SOOO ready for it to cool down for good!

Miss anything:  Enjoying the food I eat!
Movement: maybe a few rolls here and there, but not definite!

Cravings: Still not having any cravings!!! I just don't get it! I WANT them!

Queasy or sick: a few spells here an there this week

Questions/Concerns: still none

Looking forward to:  Our gender ultrasound next Friday! I'm so ready to know what this baby is!

13 week ultrasound

Yesterday we had our NT scan! Now I can't really go into much detail on what this is because honestly all I know is I get to see baby, and they measure fluid on the back of baby's neck and also do some blood work to test for down syndrome. The ultrasound tech also checked  baby's heartbeat which was nice and strong at 153 beats per minute, head and legs! That is basically all the info on that I can give ya!

However we did get to peek between the legs! Unfortunately, it was still difficult to tell because there was something still there dangling, but at this point girls also still have something there too. The tech said she really couldn't guess either way and that she is 50/50! She did say that when we come back in 2 weeks for our gender ultrasound they would definitely be able to tell!

I am still having a feeling its a girl along with a lot of other people, but Tyler is still going strong with thinking its a boy! Our gender reveal party should be interesting!

Baby was moving all around in there! When she first started the ultrasound he/she was facing down laying on his/her belly (just like momma does!) and then started jumping all over the place! Then in all the commotion I had to go back in there to do the ultrasound again because she forgot to listen to the heartbeat and look at the head measurements! I was not arguing with getting to see baby again by any means! When we went in that time and she started the ultrasound baby was face up laying on his/her back! We got super cute profile pictures then :) Baby was moving his/her hands all over the place, however legs were crossed! Stubborn child already!

Here is our sweet babe!

This picture looked like he/she was trying to suck their thumb, but wasn't!
