apparently I missed posting an 18 and 19 week update! Man time flies when you are having fun super busy! Not much has changed symptom wise, craving wise, sleeping wise, headache wise, any kind of wise!
Tyler and I did our registry last Friday at babies-R-us and Target! There were a lot of things I didn't know much about so I just picked one or either scanned them all! It was fun to go around just looking at everything and imagining soon we'll have a little girl to use all this stuff for!
I was supposed to have my 20 week appointment and ultrasound today, but because of stupid insurance reasons it was rescheduled until next week! I was really looking forward to seeing her! I 1) wanted to make sure she was still a she and 2) haven't seen her in 5 weeks!
I'm thinking that I will book a 3D ultrasound for around 25-27 weeks? I'm not sure when I will get another ultrasound after this one so I want to plan it around that! Plus I would love to have a nice 3D or even 4D picture of her to put on our Christmas card this year!
Speaking of pictures I need to get our photographer booked for our delivery photos!
I also started feeling some movements right before 19 weeks! I have felt them before, but it wasn't consistent so I didn't claim it as actual movements. Lately I've been feeling them more and more. At first what I was feeling was like a hard, slow, rolling feeling when something was pressed against my belly and every now and then a bubbling feeling. Now I still get that hard, slow, rolling feeling but I am feeling more flutters and "popcorn popping" feelings. I'm assuming those are more of kicks and the other feeling is her actually rolling over or something. I know she rolls a lot because during our ultrasound at 12 weeks she was face down and then a few minutes later when I had to go back in for the second time she had rolled face up and then back face down.
Completely off topic of baby girl, but its been cooler around here and Halloween is like a week away and I'm soooo excited. Mostly because I am so ready to decorate for Christmas! I normally start putting up inside decorations on November 1st and then mid November I get my tree(s) and put them up and then weekend after Thanksgiving or the weekend before Thanksgiving i'll put up outside decorations. This year I just want to do it all now! I just want to savor this Christmas in every way so that by the time its over and the new year starts i'll be "ready" for it to end. Which is a good sign of I lived that Christmas up!
I may end up caving and putting up some small Christmas décor inside in the next few days! I just can't help it! Hopefully Tyler doesn't kill me and i'll be able to post pictures of the decorations :)
Roll on weekend!
