At 10 months old Lakelyn can do everything a baby her age should be able to do including:
- stand holding on to someone or something
- pull up to the standing position from sitting
- object if you try to take a toy away
- say "mama" or "dada" indiscriminately
- play peekaboo
- exchange back and forth gestures with you (she likes to point)
Lakelyn can do most of the things a 10 month old will probably be able to do including:
- get into a sitting position from stomach
- wave bye-bye
- pick up a tiny object with any part of thumb and finger
- understand "no" (but not always obey it)
- clap her hands together
- walk while holding onto furniture (cruising)
She can do some of the things a baby her age may possibly be able to do including:
- stand alone momentarily
- say "dada" or "mama" discriminately
- point to something to get needs met
She can do many of the things that a baby her age may even be able to do including:
- indicates wants in ways other than crying (she points a lot)
- play ball (she likes to hand them to you over and over again, or throw them)
- drink from cup independently (I assume this is a sippy cup not just an open regular cup?)
- pick up a tiny object neatly with tips of thumb and forefinger
- respond to a one-step command (such as "give that to me" with one hand she does this to an extent and doesn't always give it to you)
- use immature jargoning (gibberish sounds as if baby is talking in a foreign language)
- stand alone well
- say one word other than "mama" and "dada"
- walk well
Lakelyn still loves to
- take baths and play in the water.
- try to eat dog food
- stand up
- mickey mouse clubhouse
- eat
- play with the dogs
- go outside
- scrunch her nose/face
the only things she does not like are:
- being told "no"
- getting changed
we celebrated her first New Years and I only have one picture from it... I know!
and got her 3rd tooth! the upper right lateral incisor (not the front tooth)
You are getting so big baby girl, but you will always be my baby <3
