Disney and finding out about baby #2

So life has been so super busy lately with working both jobs, photography, my new essential oils business, and then cheer started back up that between all of those things and taking care of the home and 2 year old I just didn't have time to come here much. However, Things are calming down a little bit. I will no longer be doing cheerleading and I also cut back hours on one of my jobs. I am going to really push myself to blog about this pregnancy like I did with Lakelyns so that I can compare!

I am already 9 weeks so I have to get caught up so I can start my weekly updates.

We went to Disney World May 11-14th. Our anniversary and Mother's Day was on the 14th! The day we got there we unpacked and then went to downtown Disney to look around. This is the day I believe she fell in love with princesses. We went into one of the stores and they had Cinderella outside adn she LOVED her. It was so sweet. We ended up going to eat at the Dinosaur Restaurant. It was very similar to the rainforest cafĂ© that we went to a few years ago. It was neat and the food was ok, but the wait to get our food took FOREVER. Lakelyn wasn't so sure at first when the storm would go off. She warmed up to it some as the night went on, but she wasn't a fan of the Dinosaurs. So while I was there the first day at Disney I got the worst headache, back ache and aches in my joints. This has always been one of my very first signs of pregnancy for some reason. I kind of just brushed it off to we got NO sleep the day we got there because Lakelyn started throwing up that night as soon as we went to bed and we were having to clean up her and wash bedsheets and everything else. We ended up not going back to sleep until almost 1am. We were up that next morning at 5:45am to get ready and take her to breakfast at Chef Mickey's! It was so fun. I was worried about how it would go since she freaks out when live characters come around. But she loved them from a distance and she did great with Pluto and Mickey when they came to our table! The food was good and there was plenty to choose from. All of the characters did come to the table and sign her book, but I ended up taking all of the pictures with them! The price was a bit steep though. We paid $100 for both of us (Lakelyn was free because she's only 2) including tip. I thought it was worth it though to see her enjoy all the characters and even interact with TWO of them, so it was a win for me!

After we left Chef Mickey's we headed to Magic Kingdom. We got here not long after the gates opened, but it was already packed. I think we picked one of the worst weekends to go to Disney. It was the launch of their new firework show. Crazy how a firework show can pack out a park, but it sure did. We watched one of Mickey and Minnie's shows when we first got there and were waiting on Tyler's parents. She LOVED the show and the castle. She didn't want to leave. It was totally hot this day too!

This child did NOT want to nap at all while we were at the parks. On Magic Kingdom day she fell asleep and her and her pappy went  and found a shaded table outside at one of the restaurants while the rest of us rode the water ride. It was probably a good hour nap. We stayed until the park closed and watched the firework show. I'm not going to lie, I got so annoyed at the people working at the parks for the firework show. They kept telling us to move and find a new place to watch the show and then 10 minutes later they let people stay exactly where we were at. This happened a good 3 times. By the time the show started we were at the exit gate watching and we started on the bridge not far from the castle.

The next day we went to animal kingdom. We thought she would like it because of all of the animals, but I think she would have definitely liked Hollywood Studios better. She fell in love with princesses the first night we got there and went to downtown Disney. We got there early and it was again packed, but we did the safari ride first because we couldn't get a fastpass for it. We didn't wait too long in line to get on but we literally got stuck on the ride for a good extra 30-45 minutes waiting for them to move a giraffe out of the roadway and try to keep a toddler occupied and sitting down for that amount of time with NOTHING going on. The driver was kind of mean to telling us she had to sit. We weren't even moving so I felt like he could have given us a break. We did a few other things and then while walking through the animal exhibit is started to storm so we took shelter in the bat cave and everyone but me and Tyler's dad took naps. Once the rain eased up we ran to the nemo show that we had a fastpass for. Lakelyn was still asleep in the stroller and the workers would NOT let me take it in with her sleeping in it even though others were bringing theirs in!! I was so annoyed. I had to wake her up and she was NOT happy and not to mention everything was in the stroller and got soaked. She through a fit for a good while before the show started. Once it started she still layed against my chest with her head covered with her blanket. When the big jellyfish came down the isles and stuff I made her look and then she kind of got into the show. She wasn't all that amused by it and I will say I had to fight falling asleep BIG TIME. After Nemo the Lion King show was the next thing we really did. This show ended up being the best thing we did the entire day and probably the only thing that made me ok with choosing animal kingdom. It was so good and Lakelyn really liked it too. After it was over it was still raining and we decided to head out and go back to the resort because we figured they wouldn't be doing the firework show in the rain and we were all wet and cold at this point.
Once we got back we decided to go to some of the shops near our resort and pick up a few souvenirs. At this point, I kinda felt like something was going on and that I may be pregnant. So later that night we ordered dinner from a seafood place and Tyler and I went and picked up the food. I made him stop into CVS because I had a huge blister on my toe and wanted a bandaid. I grabbed a test while in there and hid it :) Once we got the food and got back to the hotel I took the test and it was positive. It was light, but I knew I was really early because my period wasn't due for like 4 more days or something. I showed him that night. This was the 13th so the night before our anniversary and mother's day!

Overall, we had such a good time and Lakelyn loved all of the rides! I cannot wait to go back. We are hoping to go back before the end of the year. We originally planned for December but since I will be 9 months pregnant we figured that was probably not a good idea this time, but maybe next year!
