7, 8, 9 weeks

The month of December is extremely hectic which is why all of these weekly posts are together. I am trying to play catch up!

How far along: 7, 8, 9 weeks

Baby Growth: "Mistletoe" is a little over an inch or so long and weighs less than a quarter of an ounce. Baby has now completed the most critical portion of his or her development. He or she is swallowing fluid and kicking up a storm.  Tiny nails are forming on fingers and toes and peach-fuzz hair is beginning to grow on his or her tender skin.

My Symptoms: I've still been nauseous, but it seems to have lightened up. If I don't eat and I let myself get to the point of "i'm hungry" I get nauseous.

Still really tired and having to take naps almost daily

Still have sore boobs and peeing often

Gender:  Still do not have a clue.. for the most part I say boy, but feeling like it will be a girl because we want a boy. Counting down the days until we can find out!

Weight gain:  The last time I weighed myself, I was back down to the weight I was before finding out I was pregnant. So the 3 pounds of bloat I had gained did go away!!

Maternity clothes: None.. mainly because they're all in the attic (we literally just put them up there a week before finding out I was pregnant) However, I don't feel I need them just yet. Clothes are getting tighter for sure, but nothing a hair tie and sweatshirt cant hide.

Stretch marks: No new ones

Belly button in or out: In

Sleep: Still sleeping like normal

Best moment this week: Not having to work!!

Worst moment this week: Knowing I go back to work in 2 days. Also, still haven't found the heartbeat on the Doppler yet which is starting to really worry me

Miss anything:  Not really..
Movement: nope

Cravings: No

Queasy or sick: queasy if I don't eat!

Questions/Concerns: having a lot of weird cramping and pains after I eat. Thought it was my gallbladder and maybe I had gallstones which ive read happens in pregnancy pretty often, but its not centralized pain, its all over. Its like someone is twisting my intestines and I get really nauseated and hot. It doesn't happen everytime, but it happens a lot. It doesn't feel like gas pains either. So i'm not sure what that is about.

Looking forward to:  Finding the heartbeat on the Doppler or seeing the baby again to know everything is ok!

Belly Pictures:
promise to get out of the pjs and get something a little cuter!
