Fab Friday

 

I started this blog to document my pregnancy and the Life of Lakelyn. I have done a few other blog posts regarding other things and lately have been posting about essential oils! I plan to keep blogging about this crazy life we are living while also bringing in some other content too!

 

I try to be pretty honest and open on this blog, so here is another honest fact about me... I am all about saving a penny! I am not a crazy coupon person that has a stock pile of stuff by any means, but I will go to the cheaper gas station, I will not buy anything from Kohls without using a coupon (preferably a 30% off), I will search ebay or amazon to try to find it cheaper and I am NOT afraid to buy second hand!

 

Now that that's out there and you know a little more about me, here is my plan. I like when people tell me about good products or deals so that is what I plan on doing for you! I'll be calling these "Fab Friday" posts because A) they are fabulous products or deals and B) it's Friday and these kind of posts on Friday make people happy

Target - Valenfinds We don't really go to big on Valentine's Day. I do like to get little gifts, but really don't want to get Lakelyn anymore candy because we still have Christmas Candy! She does NOT need any toys because 1) Christmas just came and 2) her birthday is in March and i'm sure she will get loaded down again! So I am thinking some little gadgets or shoes is what will be on the agenda for her! She loves sunglasses and those heart shaped ones would be adorbs on her!

Like she went from LOVING her crib and not sleeping anywhere else to screaming bloody murder anytime she has to go to bed. BUT, she will jump in our "big" beds in a heartbeat and cover herself up and lay down. So We're thinking its probably time to go ahead and give her a big girl bed.   Mile Up AppI heard about this app and was kind of skeptical at first, but decided what the heck lets try it. I don't drive a ton, but when I do it a decent distance. This app basically allows you to redeem your points that you earn from driving for gift cards. Well in the two days I have driven

130 miles which equals out to 260 points. You get a $5 gift card for every 2,000 points. You can also earn bonus points for challenges and inviting friends! Tyler drives a ton for work so I had him download it and I'm sure we will end up with a lot of points!
